Team Loper is a group of instructors who use Loper soles and patterns to hold workshops in their local communities and sell their work. Instructors from approximately 30 locations nationwide operate out of their own ateliers or shops.
Before applying, please attend an online information session to learn about the activities, costs, and the process of becoming an instructor. Participation is free.

About the Area
In areas where instructors in the same field are already active, the headquarters may limit the number of new instructors accepted to protect existing instructors. However, you may still be able to operate in the same area if your field of activity and customer base are distinctly different.
What You Can Do as a Team Loper Instructor

Hold Your Own Workshops
You can hold workshops where shoes are completed in a single day using Loper patterns and a shoe-making method that does not rely on adhesives. -
Sell Your Work
The LOPER CREATOR plan allows you to sell finished products and accept custom orders. -
Purchase Materials at Member Prices
You can purchase soles and other materials at member prices. -
Accept Bookings Through the Official Website
Instructors who have completed training in monitored workshops and fitting will be listed on the loper.store booking page and may also be featured in Instagram ads run by the headquarters. -
You Won't Have to Do It Alone
For the first three months, the mentor instructor you choose will support you. There are also opportunities to share production know-how with other instructors.
The Process of Becoming an Instructor

Attend an Online Information Session
We will explain the activities, costs, and key points of the terms and conditions. You can ask questions during the session. -
Apply
After the information session, we will guide you through the application process. -
Prepare a Letter of Recommendation
Please ask an instructor who has taught you in a workshop to write you a letter of recommendation. -
Work Review
You will send us the shoes or bags you have made for review. We will return your work with feedback. -
Online Training
After passing the review, we will schedule individual training. You will learn how to select sizes that fit your customers' feet (fitting) and how to conduct workshops. -
Create 4 Fitting Samples and Undergo a Final Review
You will create samples and undergo a review and Q&A session. The samples do not need to be made of genuine leather; synthetic leather approximately 1.5 to 2 mm thick is acceptable. -
Sign the Agreement and Begin Your Activities
Once we have reviewed the terms and conditions together and you have signed the agreement, you can begin working as a Team Loper instructor. Set up your tools and start with monitored workshops.

If you do not pass the review, we will refund ¥44,000, excluding the ¥22,000 review fee. It costs ¥22,000 to remake your work and undergo a re-review.

Do I have to apply if I attend the information session?
No. You can decide whether to apply after hearing the details.
Who should I ask for a letter of recommendation?
Please ask a Team Loper instructor who taught you in a workshop. If you are unsure, please ask during the information session.
What happens if I fail the work review?
We will return your work with feedback. You can remake your work and undergo a re-review, or receive a refund of ¥44,000.
When do I start paying the monthly membership fee?
There is no fee for the first year after completing the training. Starting in the second year, you will pay the membership fee for your chosen plan.
Can I start without an atelier or shop?
Yes. Some instructors work from home or hold workshops at shops that welcome them or at rental spaces.
However, having a place where you can hold workshops and a way to attract customers is important for continuing your activities. Instructors who secure a suitable location and can attract customers tend to be able to operate more stably.

The online session (Zoom) lasts approximately 1 hour and is free to attend. Please select three dates and times that work for you. We will confirm one of them and send you the participation URL by email.
