Turn "Beautiful Fabric" into Your "Favorite Pair of Shoes".

How about trying to make shoes at home using your favorite fabric?

Loper's "Fabric Shoe Video Lesson" is an online experience that includes materials and videos.
You can follow along at your own pace while watching the videos.

※Soles (shoe bottoms) are sold separately. Please order your preferred soles separately according to your foot size.

Loper Official Ambassador

You can watch the full video where illustrator and handmade enthusiast Ranko Tsuda explains how to make fabric shoes in an easy-to-understand way.

Even if you are a beginner, please order with confidence.

From Fabric to "Shoes"

Originally, fabric is softer than leather and lacks sufficient strength for shoemaking. This kit includes a "special sheet to elevate fabric to the appropriate shoe strength."

Interlining: By attaching a special sheet to your favorite fabric, you can prevent deformation and achieve a beautiful silhouette.

Leather Combination: We also explain authentic arrangements that combine leather in parts for reinforcement, not just fabric.

Fabric Shoes

Sturdy, non-stretch fabrics such as canvas, wool, and denim are suitable.

Two Styles to Choose From

01. Ballerina

Features: A design with fewer parts that best showcases the fabric pattern. Can be worn without an ankle strap!

Recommended for: Colorful patterned fabrics, memorable dresses, kimono remakes, etc.

Difficulty: ★☆☆ (Ideal for beginners)

Made by Ranko Tsuda

02. Sneaker

Features: A practical design with a secure fit, perfect for active walking.

Recommended for: Durable canvas, denim, wool fabrics, etc.

Difficulty: ★★☆ (Involves a few more steps, but the sense of accomplishment is immense)

Made by Ranko Tsuda

Below are works by Leather Atelier Haruka and other artists, made by combining leather with other Loper patterns.

The works of madeni, who incorporates Aomori Tsugaru Kogin embroidery into their creations, are used for the shoe body.

This work uses fabric from "Bishu," a textile brand from Ichinomiya, a city of textiles adopted by top international brands.

The leftover fabric from making overalls was carefully used to create shoes that match the outfit!👏

1. The joy of creation, into a new cycle

Loper aims for a manufacturing cycle that utilizes local materials and enriches both makers and users. Without being constrained by mass production systems, we strive for a world where everyone can experience the "dignity of creating beautiful things."

2. Bringing beautiful materials closer to you

Even expensive fabrics, the result of skilled craftsmanship, can be transformed into special shoes that can be enjoyed daily.

We deliver the "richness of encountering genuine things" into your life through meeting excellent materials and the感動 of completing shoes with your own hands.

3. Zero adhesive. The joy of repairing and wearing shoes for a long time

The biggest feature is its unique structure that uses no harmful organic solvents. It's easy for anyone to assemble, and because it's not glued, parts can be easily replaced and repaired. With basic designs loved across eras and generations, we propose the joy of nurturing a single pair of shoes for a long time.
