Non-stretchy, firm fabrics like canvas, wool, and denim are suitable.

 

 

Two Styles to Choose From

01. Ballerina

 

Features: Composed of fewer parts, this design best showcases the fabric pattern. Can also be worn without an ankle strap!

Recommended for: Eye-catching all-over patterns, fabric from cherished dresses, kimono remakes, etc.

Difficulty: ★☆☆ (Perfect for beginners)

Features: A practical design with good hold, allowing for active walking.

Recommended for: Durable canvas, denim, wool fabrics, etc.

Difficulty: ★★☆ (Involves a few more steps, but the sense of accomplishment is immense)

By mastering "the basics of turning fabric into shoes" through this kit, you'll be able to freely create any other Loper patterns (Derby shoes, sandals, etc.).

 

Below are works by Leather Atelier Haruka and other artisans, made using other Loper patterns and combined with leather.

The fabric for the shoes was created by madeni, who incorporates Aomori Tsugaru Kogin-sashi embroidery into her work.

 

This piece uses "Bishu" textile from Ichinomiya, a textile town whose fabrics are also adopted by top international brands.
