Workshop in April with Ranko Tsuda and Loper instructor Haruka
"I want to buy a kit, but I'm not confident in making it on my own. "
"I can't participate in the real workshop held in Tokyo. "
If you are one of those people, you can participate in workshops taught by instructors certified by Loper headquarters across Japan!
First of all, how did this project come about?
The origin of this is HARUKA, a Loper instructor based in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo.
"Loper should come up with many ideas to make itself known to more people!"
He said, and while he made various suggestions,
Ranko, who has been making shoes with Loper soles for a long time, will be our ambassador.
I would also love to create a collaborative model together!
I received the following suggestion.
The Loper team agreed and said, "We'd love to do that!", so we contacted Ranko and that's how it all started.
Haruka originally studied fashion business at a university in the UK, and after graduating she became a businesswoman who worked in business development and sales planning at a major systems company.
While I was continuing to do handmade crafts as a hobby, I found out about Loper through Ranko's Instagram, became hooked on it, and obtained an instructor qualification. He has an atelier in Jiyugaoka and is very active.
Currently, he is not only holding workshops for domestic customers, but also for foreigners living in Japan and inbound tourists visiting Japan, making use of his language skills.
They are also well versed in early childhood education, including Montessori education, and have developed an original program called Kakuiku and workshop menus for children.
You can read real reviews of Haruka's workshops here !

Colorful, stylish and creative.
Ranko-san, who values creating, thinking, and living above all else.
I just love making things!
How can we make Loper more accessible to more people?
Haruka-san acts with a strong love for Loper
This is a collaboration kit filled with the thoughts of these two people.
I hope you all enjoy it!

What is Loper?
Roper is a shoe that combines leather craft and sneakers.
The high-quality leather upper and durable sole are assembled without adhesive.
We have achieved a comfortable fit that makes you want to wear them every day.
No adhesives
More than 90% of the shoes you see every day are manufactured using adhesives.
Most of the adhesives used are organic solvent types.
When it sticks, it evaporates and releases toxic vapors.
That's why ventilation equipment is essential in shoe factories.
But you can't completely vent it.
Project Loper was started from the desire to design a manufacturing system that would be safer for the working conditions and health of those involved in shoe manufacturing.
No mass production
Normally, shoemaking requires expensive equipment investment and skilled techniques.
Instead of mass production, we use local materials to create high-quality products that incorporate local characteristics.
By creating a system that allows products to be purchased from trusted people, we aim to create a cycle that makes both users and producers rich and happy.
